Heute stell ich euch das Label Plastica vor. Sie sind ebenfalls bei Klamottenkunst im Schi(c)kander am 12. November dabei. Plastica kreieren coole Upcycling Fashion. Aber lest und seht selbst.

 

Wir sind Denise und Maicol, wir machen Kleidung und nennen dieses Projekt PLASTICA. Das bedeutet expressive und kreative Kraft und repräsentiert tragbare Streetwear mit einem Touch Glamour. Wir spielen mit konträren Stilen, komponieren mit kräftigen Farben, verbinden sportliche, moderne und klassische Stoffe. Uns inspiriert das verspielt Infantile, romantische Nostalgie, sportliche Funktionalität sowie die Eleganz des klassischen Designs.
Wir produzieren Einzelstücke und Kleinstserien in häuslichen Werkstätten. Jedes Stück ist sorgfältig von Hand genäht und bedruckt. Die Stoffe sind Reststücke, die wir wie ungeahnte Schätze auf den Märkten Bogotás entdeckt und mit viel Liebe zum Detail ins passende Kleidungsstück verwirklicht haben.

Plastica entspringt einem Bewusstsein der Liebe und der Kreativität und möchte Teil einer Gegenbewegung zu ausbeuterischer Produktion und Massenkonsum sein.

We are Denise and Maicol, we produce clothes and we call this project PLASTICA. This stands for standing for expressive and creative power. We create acceptable streetwear with a touch of glamor. We juggle with contrary styles, compose with powerful colors and bring in relation different sporty, modern and classical materials. Our inspiration is the playful infantile as well as romantic nostalgia, the elegance of classical design and sporty functionality.

We produce single pieces and small series in homely workshops. Each piece is sewed and printed by hand. The material is oddment which we found on the markets of Bogotá like unexpected treasures. We realized them with a careful regard on the detail into the appropriated piece of clothing.
Plastica rise from creativity and love and like to be part of a counter-movement to an exploitive production and the upcoming mass-consumption.
